The aim of the project is to contribute to the understanding of users’ appropriation of digital interactive technologies in a museum learning context. Focus is on interactivity between technology, users and the physical museum setting with artifacts.
The main question is how young people’s creativity unfolds in a museum context when they are offered digital experiential learning resources. The project examines the design as well as the use of the interactive media experience centre “The Media mixer” at Denmark’s Media museum, with a special focus on “The sound box”; an experiential exhibit where users produce audio tracks for moving images.
