Design and implementation of a mobile learning resource

The PhD project focuses on designing a mobile learning resource for upper-secondary students and studying its implementation at a Danish science center Experimentarium. Making use of students’ own mobile phones, a narrative game, entitled ’Ego-Trap: you have no idea’, was designed to facilitate trails through the exhibition and drawing on theories of creative flow, narrativity and social learning. Design-based research made up the methodological approach while empirical analysis of users’ engagement with and reflections on the exhibition was based on video footage and interviews with students and their teachers.
